Gustavo Beliz. Permanent Member of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences. Member of the Leadership Council of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN). Member of the Board of Directors of the Argentine Council on International Relations (CARI). He served for 17 years as an executive at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), where he directed the Institute for the Integration of Latin America (INTAL). He served as a minister in the Argentine government on three occasions, in the areas of Home Affairs; Justice, Security, and Human Rights; and Strategic Affairs. He was president of the National Institute of Public Administration and of the Economic and Social Council of Argentina. He served as Argentina’s director at the World Bank, the IDB, and CAF. He holds a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires and completed a research fellowship at the London School of Economics. He is a professor at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of the University of Buenos Aires, School of Law; and at Austral University, School of Government. His advisory work for international organizations includes the OAS, the Development Bank of Latin America, ECLAC, and UNDP. He is the author and editor of 27 books on public policy, with a particular focus on sustainable development, international finance, and technological change.
