Mauro Fontana, born in 1952, President of Mutti S.p.A. since 2022.
Degree in Chemistry and professional qualification.
From 1971 to 2020 he held several technical top managerial roles in national and multinational companies in the food sector.
From 2007 to 2020 he was the Technical Scientific Director of Soremartec Italia srl, the R&D company of Ferrero, where he filled the role of President and CEO from 2015 to 2020.
Past President of the National Agrifood Cluster and of the Italian Union for Sustainable Palm Oil.
Member of various University, Institutional, and Association Scientific Technical Committees.
Co-author of several scientific articles in the food sector on Technologies, Food Analisys and Food Safety.
