Director of Technology, Innovation & Digital Spoke
Mauro Giancaspro was born in 1971 and graduated in Information Sciences from the University of Bari. He has over 25 years of professional experience in the field of technology and software engineering.
Since June 2021, he has been the Director of Technology, Innovation & Digital Spoke at Anas S.p.A. – Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane. He leads the company's Digital Business Transformation Journey, overseeing strategic innovation programs and technological evolution aimed at generating business value in terms of safety and public utility services envisaged in the PNRR (Smart Road Anas and Dynamic Structural Health Monitoring Platform of Bridges and Viaducts).
From 2002 to 2021, he worked at ENAV S.p.A. Group, holding various managerial positions of increasing responsibility within the ICT Directorate until taking over its leadership in 2013. He collaborated with the CEO and Top Management on Digital Business Strategy & Execution, focusing on strategic imperatives of innovation, business continuity, and cost efficiency. As part of the Privatization process, he managed the program to adapt the company's enterprise information systems for listing on the Italian Stock Exchange, which occurred in July 2016. From 2006 to 2008, he managed the technological innovation program of the AOIS system (Aeronautical Operational Information System), the core of the civil air traffic management system in Italy.
From 1998 to 2002, he worked at Oracle, participating in ERP projects for large organizations in Italy and Europe.
