CEO, Engel & Völkers Italy

Muhannad Al Salhi, born in Rome in 1988, is the CEO of Engel & Völkers Italy. After studying Economics and Management at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, including a study period in Madrid, he embarked on an international professional path that led him to develop a strong commercial mindset and a natural aptitude for engaging across markets and cultures.
His Jordanian-Palestinian roots, combined with his upbringing in Italy, reflect an open and deeply multicultural perspective.
He began his career in sales in the United Arab Emirates, working on the sale of Cisco Systems solutions, before returning to Europe in 2014 to join Groupon in Milan. There, over five years between Italy and Spain, he held roles of increasing responsibility, eventually becoming Commercial Director Italy, strengthening a highly growth-oriented approach to business development, value creation, and operational team leadership.
In 2018, he entered the real estate sector with WeWork in London, initially as Head of Growth EMEA and later as General Manager for Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
In 2022, he founded Stracasa, a digital platform dedicated to the buying and selling of fractional holiday properties, bringing his entrepreneurial and commercial approach into the real estate sector.
Since 2024, he has been the CEO of Engel & Völkers Italy, where he leads the brand’s growth and positioning in the high-end real estate market. Under his leadership, the Italian market has strengthened its role within the group’s global network, attracting increasing interest from both national and international investors and contributing to consolidating Italy as one of the brand’s most strategic markets worldwide
