Lombardi

Professor, Polytechnic University of Turin

Patrizia Lombardi (PhD, MSc, BA/MA) is Full Professor of Economic and Planning Evaluation and Vice‑Rector for Sustainable Campus and Living Lab at Politecnico di Torino. She co‑founded and formerly served as President of the Italian Network of Universities for Sustainable Development (RUS), leading national initiatives for the ecological transition of universities, and currently co‑chairs the SDSN Italian Chapter. At the European level, she is an Expert Group Member on Sustainability for the European University Association (EUA) and previously contributed to the Consultation Group for the Coordinated Plan for Advanced Materials, appointed by the Italian Ministry of University. She also served as Expert Member of the Technical Structure of the Ministry for Sustainable Mobility and Infrastructure (2020–22) and was appointed twice as Expert Member for the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR) in the evaluation of the University Third Mission. With over 30 years of international research experience, she has coordinated numerous competitive projects and authored more than 280 publications on sustainable development, circular economy, cultural heritage, energy transition, smart cities, and nature‑based solutions.
