Vincenzo Tapella is a chemistry graduate from Alba who began his professional career in 1983 in Brussels at Soremartec. From 1985 to 2017, he worked at Ferrero S.p.A., initially focusing on research and development as well as quality assurance for oils and fats, before taking on responsibilities in procurement, sustainability, and logistics for these commodities.
From 2018 to 2021, he served as CEO of ISF Italy S.r.l. (Nisshin Oillio Group). Today, he works as a consultant, and in 2025, he assumed the role of President of the Unione Italiana Olio di Palma Sostenibile, a multi-stakeholder platform established in 2015 by a group of industry associations and leading national and international companies. The organization’s primary goal is to promote the use of sustainable palm oil among Italian businesses and to ensure accurate stakeholder information.
